Steve and Linda Sander's Trip to Finland Friday, June 8, 2001 -- AM This morning we visited Turku Castle. It dates back to the thirteenth century. Originally it was on an island at the mouth of the river Aura, but, since the glaciers have receded, Finland has been rising. Now it is on a small hill a hundred yards from the water.
