Steve and Linda Sander's Trip to Finland Monday, June 11, 2001 -- AM This morning we drove to Helsinki and took a ship (3.5 hours) across the Gulf of Finland to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Tallinn's old town is one of the undiscovered gems of Europe. It's medieval walls are intact, and the buildings are in excellent shape -- it was not bombed during WW II.
